The POM protection is an additional safeguard against abrasion-related damage under the agitator blade bushing. The protective clamp made of polyoxymethylene prevents abrasion on the bearing flange or housing and protects the mechanical seal. The POM protection is available for agitators of type Giantmix FR, Giantmix FT, OPTIMIX.
